What Causes Sudden Numbness And Pain In The Fingers?
Sudden numbness and lite pain in left three fingers and thumb now having lasted several hours. I had carpal tunnel in right hand but symptoms left after short while. Finally had the surgery. Never had symptoms in left had until suddenly earlier tonight.
As you mentioned that you have a history of carpel tunnel syndrome in your right hand though you had it treated by surgery but the matter of the fact is that you have a tendency to develop this syndrome again. It may this time attack left side, you need to take high precaution. First of all you have to stop or atleast minimise your work on computer, pressing computer keys enhances the symptoms. Hot fomentation and use of NSAID gel can also help. You can also consult a physiotherapist to help you relieve the pain and numbness by proper mobilization . This can infuture avoid surgical intervention.'
Hope that helps Thanks
