What Causes Sudden Numbness And Pain In The Leg After Standing Up?

My husband was working in the yard and was kneeling down pulling weeds. When he stood up and placed full weight on his feet he heard a loud pop and then felt numbness to his left foot for a minute followed by pain. He now has swelling to the lateral side of his ankle and can t bear any weight on the left foot.

I really appreciate your concern, it could be sprain, analgesic and anti-inflammatory can be tried like Tab Ibuprofen 400 mg three times in day, keep the leg in elevated positon, if these fails to work then better to get done the x-ray of foot, hope this information helps.
