What Causes Sudden Numbness And Tingling In Cheek, Lips And Finger?

Today during meeting (sitting) sensation down my left cheek and into my lips (instantly numb and tingling...sor of like when you are at dentist). Left arm and hand got heavy, and finger started tingling. Neck was hurting and I got an instant headache. Very lightheaded. A few minutes later when I stood up I blacked out (not fainted...it just went black). Any ideas?

Hello dear user!
I have gone through your query and understood your concerns!
Thank you for sharing them on healthcaremagic.
By the symptoms you describe in your query it seems like you have had a TIA (transitory ischemic accident).
It a neurological condition that happens and disappears within 24 hours, and it is considered a neurological emergency. Please go to your healtcare center as soon as possible to go through some examinations that you really need.
-I would recommend you a head CT-scan, carotid arteries ultrasound, complete blood count and lipids in blood, and an analysis called D-dimer.
Of course would be necessary a neurologist consultation to evaluate your health status.

I hope this answer was helpful to you!
Please kindly rate it and write a short review about your experience with me!
Thank you and best regards!
