What Causes Sudden Numbness In The Legs And Knees?

Yesterday I was stand up talking to a worker when I lost the feelings in my knees and legs and found myself on my back on the floor. About 3 to 5 mins later I started to have feeling back in to my legs. After sitting in a chair for about 15 mins I was able to walk again.

This looks to have happened for the first time; loosing feeling in knees and legs and falling down.
This may be due to many reasons like syncope, dizziness, overall weakness, shooting of blood pressure and so many reasons.
