What Causes Sudden Onset Of Fainting Spell?

I was setting at the table yesterday and suddenly felt like I wasn t quite there, this was in the AM, had a good night seep, my husband asked if I was alright, he said I looked like I was going to pass out, he says he helped me to the couch and he got me a blanket and he said I went right to sleep, I don t have much memory of leaving the table to the couch, I woke a couple hours later, seemed confused to what just took place, am feeling fine today, but laid down this afternoon and slept again, I never sleep during the day?

HI
Well come to HCM
If this was the first incidence then this could be due to hypoglycemia, orthostatic hypotension (Not really but if you try to stand up and do not remembered this) or may be hysteric attack, now important part is, if this goes on happening again and again then may need immediate attention and investigations like CT brain, EKG, EEG, hope this information helps, take care.
