I have sudden onset of pain in the right side of my chest after being body slammed while wrestling. It hurts when I breath deeply when I lay down and when I sit up. the pain is sharp and I would rate it at about 6/10. The area is not tender to touch.

Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like lung infection , liver swelling , gallstone pain , kidney infection or stone and angina . I would suggest you to consult general practitioner for proper examination . Doctor may order ultrasound , liver function test , kidney function test and ECG . Doctor may refer you to chest specialist for chest infection , gastroenterologist for liver problem or acid reflux . For now apply warm compresses to chest and take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain .
