What Causes Sudden Pain In Head?

Problem: sudden headache while the plan was about to descent, and it lasted for 5 hours even after alighting. Scenario: I was using my headset and watching a movie on the tv screen. And when the pilot announced to turn off electric gadgets, I was about to pull the earphones off and then I felt a sudden pain in the forehead above the left eye, it started with a chilling cold feeling in the forehead, (like an electric current passing through the left side of the forehead), it followed by a pain in the upper part of the forehead area close to the temple and pain radiating down towards the left eye. The feeling I had was like I hit my head on to something and a lump was caused in that area. But in fact, I never hit my head against anything. The pain continued till I took a paracetamol prescribed by the doctor. Doctor checked my pressure and eyes and found everything to be normal. However, the Next day, I still feel a slight pain in the forehead area. What could be reason for this ?

Hi,
Welcome To Healthcaremagic.

I go through your question and got your problem.

According to my opinion, the reason of your headache might be the high volume of headphones and watching tv for longer time.

Pain in forehead is very common in high blood pressure and eye problems. But, both of these are ruled out by your doctor and are normal. So, nothing to worry about it. As you are saying that you feel better after having paracetamol prescribed by your doctor, keep continue 650mg of paracetamol 3 times in a day, at the interval of 7-8 hours, for 2-3 days to subside your pain.

I would definitely advice you to avoid the use of headphones at loud volume and watch tv for long time to not face again this type of complain.
After doing all these things, I hope you will get well sooner and please share your experience about me on healthcaremagic.

Take Care,
Thank You.
