Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

Was there any injury there in recent past? Any clicks or pops felt while moving the joint? If no swelling over the area, and no clicks or pops (suggesting osteoarthritis) felt on moving the joint, just take analgesics like ibuprofen 2-3 times a day after food for 5 days to see the response. If the pain persists or recur, we can see an orthopedist for further evaluation.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Muhammed Aslam T. K., Pediatrician
