I have been having this severe pain on the mid right side of my back since yesterday, it is a sudden pain that has stayed since yesterday. it hurts all of the time and pain seems to worsen with movement. what coul it be? took some pain medicine last night and it did not help at all

I can understand your problem
plz mention weather there is any associated symptoms like burning micturition ,fever ,vomitings ,nausea
dont worry take analgesics initially along with muscle relaxants ,, if pain persist then undergo for ultrasound KUB,urine rouine investigation,x ray Ls spine ..
try to drink plenty of water or liquids ,
if above inveatons are are normal it is only muscular spasm will be releived by muscle relaxants ..ok dont worry .
if changes in KUB scan plz consult once to urologist .. ok
