What Causes Sudden Pain In The Chest Radiating To The Neck And Back?

Hello. I am a 35 year old female. I have had my gall bladder removed in 2010 as well as had a hysterectomy in 2009 my left kidney removed in 2012 and appendectomy in 2004. I am a type 2 diabetic. I have experienced this pain before but I have been getting a sudden pain in the middle of my chest which goes through to my back. it radiates a stinging pain up the right side of my neck to my right side of the jaw. What could it be? Should I call 911?

Hello,

You had a multi organ problem. Gall bladder removed Hysterectomy. Left kidney removed. Appendectomy is done.

Type 2 diabetic. So with all these thing having chest pain radiating to back and neck, better rule out any cardiac cause. Go to ER take ECG/Echo for safety.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
