What Causes Sudden Persistent Pain In The Ribs Radiating Though To Hip?
I have been having intermittent pain on (primarily) the left side, from my ribs to hips. At times it encompasses the whole pelvic region. I saw my urologist & he said my kidneys were clear (hx of stones), I had a pap the other day to help rule out any gynecological issues. I have had Essure in place for about 5 years now. It is getting to the point that my ADLs are being effected. Do you have any suggestions?
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have sudden persistent pain in the ribs radiating though to hip. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like , but in your case it seems to me that the symptoms are due to nerve injury , pinched or compressed nerve ( Sciatica ) , which may occur due to your disc bulged problem . I would suggest you to continue exercises , apply hot compresses on back and take proper rest . Consult orthopedic surgeon for proper examination . Doctor may order x-ray , CT scan and MRI . Doctor may prescribe muscle relaxant , anti inflammatory and recommend particular type of stretching exercise or physical therapy . Doctor may also refer you to cardiologist for pain like angina .
Hope your concern has been resolved.
