What Causes Sudden Popping Noise Leading To Pain In Shoulder?
about a week or two ago i felt a pop in my shoulder (didn t sound good). well ever since then ive been having pain in my shoulder with everyday movement. i work on aircraft, so i know that really don t it help it heal. most of the pain is towards the front of my shoulder. any idea what it might be? Thanks, Cody
Hello dear Understand your concern Popping noise in shoulder occur due to joint movement of glenohumeral joint. If it is not associated with it is normal. But in your case you have pain suggests some pathology. It may be muscle injury/spasm or shoulder dislocation. You should consult the orthopaedics and get the proper investigation like XAY sholuder, physical examination and MRI if needed. Take following advice: complete rest to shoulder, avoid overhead activity, cold pad compression, tablet ibuprufen with sertiopeptidase, wear orthopaedic braces for support. If not resolves there may be need of steroid injection and minor surgery. Hope this may help you Best regards Dr. Sagar
