What Causes Sudden Pressure Behind And In Between The Eyes?

When I get angry (kind of a cool, calculated anger) a lot of the time I feel this weird sudden pressure behind and between my eyes, and it often leads me to blurting out something I didn t want to say. Could these be blackouts of a sort? Is this something I need to worry about or is it normal?

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of sudden pressure behind and in between the eyes which are symptoms of sinusitis. The symptoms cxan also occur due to eye problem like increase in ocular pressure , consult ophthalmologist for it . I would suggest you to put nasal decongestant sprays for opening of sinuses. You should take antihistamines Levocetrizine and antibiotic such as Cephalosporin combination as infection is present. Montelukast is also effective for this. You should take steam inhalation. Visit ENT specialist once and get it examined. You should go for sinus X ray and CT scan done as well. You can go for drainage of sinuses to relieve pressure and surgical reconstruction of opening after proper prescription.Taking steam will help alot .
