What Causes Sudden Rise In BP Inspite Of Taking Medications?

Hello Dr Iam 40 yrs old male, my blood pressure was 160/ 110, 3 months backi have started telma 40 mg once daily, my all blood reports r normal , including t3 t4 tsh , anti tpo , BUN, creatinine, lipid profile, potassium, sodium, usg of abdomen, 2d echo, tmt r normal. Last week bp was 120/78 , but past 2 days again it shows 150/100. I do regular walk for 30 min. Plz advice

Hi welcome to HCM
Anxiety and stress may increase BP.So, once again check your BP if still high you should increase the drug dosage or have an add on drug.Since all your investigations are normal you need not worry.Addition of diuretic drgs may be helpful in you case.Monitor your BP and heart rate regularly.low salt,high proten diet should be helpful.conslt your cardiologist for expert management.
