What Causes Sudden Rise In Heart Beat With Fainting Sensation?

Hi, I had 3-4 cups of espresso coffee during the day and had a large gelato after dinner on the same day. Approx 60 mins later my heart started racing and felt faint. It lasted about 5 minutes. I continued to feel lethargic for 2-3 days and felt OK after that. your advice please? regards, sandro
