What Causes Sudden Sharp Pain In The Abdomen And Back?
i often get a sudden sharp pain in the upper abdomen and in my upper back...it takes my breath away Is a shock...like a bolt of lightening...lasts a few seconds...and sometimes happens if i turn from side to side in bed...or just randomly without warning at any time.
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of sudden sharp pain in the abdomen and back . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like infectious mononucleosis , influenza , bacterial or viral gastroenteritis or urinary tract infection. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to to consult gastroenterologist for proper examination. Doctor may prescribe antibacterial or antiviral depending upon the diagnosis. Doctor may also prescribe laxative , omeprazole along with analgesic. You should avoid intake of outside food. For now eat light and non spicy in small and frequent meals and take ibuprofen or acetaminophen for pain. Doctor may also refer you to nephrologist for kidney problem or urologist for UTI .
