General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Reactive airway disease implies that his airways are reacting more than normally to triggers \.
Triggers could be cold temperature, viral infection, dust, pollen, certain foods/drinks, animal dander, exercise.
It can vary.

Gerd can worsen reactive airway disease as well.

His doctor may suggest imaging of the chest with chest x ray or ct.

Pulmonary function test may also be done.

I hope this helps
