Hi welcome to Health Care Magic. I am doctor Alok Sinha, MD Psychiatry from India. I will try my best to give your answer.
The twitching you are describing here is, maybe because of myoclonic jerk. Myoclonic jerk is a kind of localised
epilepsy in which the person experiences involuntary twitching of a group of muscles. The person never ever loses consciousness and he is fully aware of all the happenings.
There are few other reasons for muscles twitching like,
electrolyte imbalance, acute intoxication with drugs,
dehydration, heavy
metal poisoning etc. But in these cases the symptoms should not last long. I do not see any reason to attribute your symptoms to excessive use of cell phone. How ever I must educate you that any photic (light) stimulation may precipitate a seizure activity, so looking at bright light, prolonged work at computer, constant vision on mobile phone screen, watching T V for long etc should be avoided.
I suggest you to
consult a neurologist and get an EEG done for confirmation of diagnosis. He may prescribe you some medicines for cure.
Hope it answers your question. I wish you a good health.
