What Causes Sudden Urge To Urinate And Bed Wetting In Adults?

I awakened in the nite last night with an urge to urinate which is not unusual. When I got up I realized I was soaked. My pajamas were wet. I did urinate but really believe I wet the bed. My bed covers were wet. This hasn t happened to me since I was a child. I do have a weak bladder.

Hello welcome to healthcaremagic forum!

Bed wetting adults is quite a common problem specially when you have a hyperactive or weak bladder, as you mentioned, some of the common causes of bedwetting in adults are:
lack the necessary muscle and nerve control
produce a lot of urine at night
If you have only recently started to wet the bed, it could be caused by:

urine infection
alcohol, coffee or diuretic medicines
sleeping tablets
diabetes
stress and anxiety
To relieve this naturally
Try to stop drinking water after 7 pm
Avoid alcohol n coffee since they are diueretics (if you have it)

You can visit you doctor for further opinion and treatment
Hope this helps
Take care
