Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Sudden Urge To Urinate, stomach Upset And Dizziness?
I was just sitting in my chair reading. Then all of the sudden I started feeling hot and needed to go to the bathroom (urinate). My stomach was a little upset but not much. But I started sweating a lot and felt trembly/shaky and weak all over. I thought if I had something cold it might cool me down. So I ate a popsicle and sat back down. I actually had trouble holding the popsicle because my hands were shaking so much. Still feeling really tired afterwards, but the sweating and light headiness settled down. But since it s settled down and I m not feeling as bad I just don t want to overreact. Should I be concerned?
Sitting into the chair for long time and standing up immediately this might be related to micturition syncope or postural hypotension. I would advise you to check your blood pressure in sitting as well as standing position and update me about the blood pressure recordings. In addition to that I would like to have further information like your age, any medicines if you taking presently?
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. B. R. Hudda, General & Family Physician
