Hi,
Noted your short history having an episode of
vertigo lasting only for seconds, the sensation was very strong, wants to know whether to be concerned about it.
Momentary vertigo if known to occur in many conditions like
viral fever,
hypertension, severe weakness, conditions of internal ears and
cerebellum.
Hence I would advise you the following:
Consult your Doctor for proper clinical evaluation, general examination say for hypertension, size of pupils, reaction to light and so on.
This may give a clue as there is any specific reason or just one episode.
Further investigations may be necessary.
Also watch for the instigating or enhancing factors, avoid these at any cost.
The management will be as per the cause found.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. T. Chandrakant, General Surgeon
