What Causes Sudden Weakness And Immobility In The Legs?
My friend had sudden onset of leg weakness and falls(x3) She went to the ER and had multiple tests including brain CT labwork chest x-ray and EKG. Her urinalysis came back with no bacteria. no mucous and 3-5 WBC. They in turn said she had a UTi that was causing her leg weakness and sent her home on antibiotics.They never tested her legs at all. Should she be satisfied with this diagniosis or seek another opinion. She has no signs of UTI.

If symptoms persist, better to consult a neurologist and plan for an MRI brain to rule out possible intracranial (inside the brain) causes.
We have to rule out other causes like GBS also.
