What Causes Sudden Weight Gain?

I am feeling bloated, and I am gaining weight even though I am not overeating. I fact I have been trying to lose weight. Should I see my doctor soon? I have a physical appointment on 2/22, but I am not sure that I should wait to see my doctor then. Please advise.

Hi thanks for asking question

Noted you have bloated abdomen with weight gain.

First of all although you are not overeating, but if you do not burn your enough calorie as per that of calorie intake then weight can increase.

Sedentary life style, laziness, lack of exercise can gain your weight.

Here I also want to rule out hypothyroidism as weight gain can also occur in it.For that do your thyroid profile with T3, T4, and TSH in serum.

I hope your concern solved.

Take care.
