I am a 66-year-old female. What would cause a weight gain if I have been monitoring my caloric intake and have actually been below 1800 calories per day, but am gaining weight. I am moderately active, but no high-intensity workouts. No health issues that I am aware of.

welcome to hcm...of your calorie intake has not increased but weight is increasing ..please go for thyroid profile checking ..as low thyroid is a very cimmon cause for this
