What Causes Sunburn Along With Soreness In The Upper Back?

Hello, I have a sore upper back and my skin feels like it s sunburnt from upper back around to the front of my chest with no rash. The affected area is tender and sensitive. I already seen my gp and I did not recieve an answer to what this sensation might be. Please can I have some advice. Thanks

UNDERSTANDING YOUR CONCERN.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have sunburn along with soreness in the upper back . The symptom you describe in your query indicates towards a condition of severe sunburn.When you experience sunburn blister don't pop up immediately but appears after sometime.I would suggest you to apply aloe vera gel,don't pick then and apply broad spectrum sunscreen with SPF15 on affected area while going outside.Also apply cold compresses to affected area and cover the area to prevent the further damage of the skin . Upper back pain can occur due to few reasons like like cervical spondylosis , trapezius muscle trigger point and injury . Consult orthopedic surgeon for upper back pain .
