What Causes Sweating On Face And Back Of A Person With Thyroid Disorder?
What type of blood work would be ordered to check for thyroid issues? (I have been on synthroid 100mcg 1x daily for over 20 years). I am scheduled to see endocrinologist end of April. I am having excessive sweating on my face, scalp, neck, and back. I was blaming hot flashes but I m 59 and have been postmenopausal for at least 10 years. I just had blood work done. post menopausal women are known for this hot flushing symptoms , suggest you hormonal replacement therapy if you are not taking it, you are on thyroid supplement , hyperthyroidism also causes this type of symptoms , better to check free T3 , free T4 .
