General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

You may be suffering from thyrotoxicosis. Thyrotoxicosis after thyroidectomy, the procedure of removing the thyroid gland, is a rare occurence. Other symptoms of thyrotoxicosis are palpitations, headache, anxiety, weight loss, warm skin, muscle weakness, fatigue, etc. Look for the enlargement in anterior aspect of the neck. Consult your physician for medical management. If the symptoms persists even after medications, opt for surgery with thyroid supplements.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Pradeepraj, General & Family Physician
