What Causes Sweating While Having A Sore Throat?

I had a sore throat starting thursday and by sunday it was a cold. So last night I took nyquil, today I took dayquil and have been drinking hot fluids all day. Im sweating like a race horse and hope that its a good thing. So is sweating a good thing?

If your query is just about the sweating and also you concern about this then I would say that excessive sweating may be normal unless proved without any pathology, need to rule out certain medical condition, take care.
