What Causes Swelling After Draining And Washing Infected Wound On Hand?

Hi I ve recently had an ioeration in my hand to drain and wash out any infection. The bug was morganella Morganii it did cause cellulitis. The wound has nearly healed but have been getting swelling so they have done a swob and it is still around I m on 2 different antibiotics this will be about 5wks worth in total some have been throw Iva drip. What do you think chances of being operated on again ?

The swab would have no only identified the bacteria but would have also shown which antibiotics would have worked best.

Your doctors would have likely chosen these antibiotics for you to use.
They should be able to treat the infection effectively to prevent further surgery but this cannot be guaranteed.
