What Causes Swelling After Putting Lyrica?

I was put on lyrica in march of 2013 for dead legs at first it seemed tohelp then 3 months ago my legs and feet started to swell up and I went to the doctor,nothing to worry about I was told as it was the drugs in the lyrica.so I just stopped taking the meds and I wound up in the hospital and never in my 82 yrs had I had such pain and confusion.it was so bad,i was put on a 30 minute check to make sure I was still alive,now it is 2months later and I still have terrible withdrawls is there anything I can do to get over this as I live alone and have bad thoughts that creep in my mind

Hi,

It may not be related to Lyrica. You can consult a physician and get evaluated to find out what exactly is causing the swelling.

You have to go for an ultrasound scan to evaluate the cause for swelling.
