What Causes Swelling And Bruising Above The Ankle?
My husband s legs are consistently swollen and he has a red area on both legs just above the ankle. He is on a blood thinner and has a pacemaker. The urologist indicated he has an infection and is now on antibiotics but this existed before taking the antibiotic.

He should get evaluated by his cardiologist. The edema may be caused by heart issues also. Continue the treatment and get reevaluation.
