General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I understand your frustration with going to hospitals and seeing doctors. On the other hand, swelling of one leg and pain with bluish decoloration warrants an urgent visit. This is to rule out deep vein thrombosis. A Doppler ultrasound is needed in this case and the doctor may also choose to order some other examinations as well.

I hope this answers your query.
I remain at your disposal for further medical assistance.
