What Causes Swelling And Bruising On The Thigh Along With Painful Lump?
I hit a tree hard last Friday whilst snowboarding. My thigh is all bruised and swollen still. There is a lump above the bruising which doesn t seem to be going down, the rest of the swelling is I think. I am still hobbling around it hurts to walk but is getting better. What should I do? Does the lump need to be drained?

I really appreciate your concern, the swelling could be due to collection of blood (It needs to be confirmed ) and care need to be taken for infection else it will be resolved on its own no need to drain it hope this information helps.
