Are you a Diabetic, do you have Cardiac, Renal, Liver dysfunction or bilateral lower limb varicose veins. These are the usual causes leading to swelling of the feet and legs. To prevent the swelling, it would be good to use compression stockings both lower limbs, toes to mid thigh, to be worn in the morning when the swelling is minimal, and remove it at night before sleeping. Please do consult a general physician to diagnose any disease process causing the swelling and take specific management for the same.
