What Causes Swelling And Flaky Skin On Eyelids And Lips?
I have had really bad peeling and swelling of eyelids and lips. Have suffered blepharitus in past and have acne roses sia ! Doctors recently prescribed co amoxiclav but no improvement ! I have blurred vision and really getting me down ! Today my eyes look burnt
Understanding your concern. The most probable reason for your swelling and flaky skin on eyelids and lips is allergic reaction , contact dermatitis , sun burn or side effects of certain medicine .you should go to ophthalmologist . Treatment should start with removal of underlying cause .Your doctor can prescribe you some antihistamine drugs for allergy either oral or In the form of eye drops . For now you can apply cold packs to your eyes and drink lots of water so that medicine you took , clear off from your body quickly. The symptoms will start reliving as medicine that caused allergy clear off your body and you start taking medicine . Do not apply any osmetic product . Doctor may also refer you to dermatologist or allergy specialist .
