I am a 25 year old man. My testes appear mildly swollen bilaterally, they feel heavier than usual and are still fairly soft on palpation. I have had one sexual partner and have HSV1, and no other known diseases. I am up to date with my vaccinations. What could it be?
Hi. Thanks for your query and an elucidate history. This problem usually appears secondary to urinary tract infection. Get your urine tested for routine, microscopy, culture and sensitivity and then only start antibiotic and anti-inflammatory medicines for 3 weeks. In the meantime get ultrasonography of the abdomen for genito-urinary system and of the scrotum too. Give scrotal support.
