What Causes Swelling And Inflammation In The Feet?

I have swelling in both feet every day now for over 6 weeks, water pills don t help. Swelling worse in left foot and redness in foot and up part of my leg. Lately that left leg feels stiff in the ankle and up to mid leg. My Dr isn t sure what the problem is. Trying water pills and took me off one of my blood pressure medicines to see if it would help. Once the weather got really hot it started. Worried this might be something serious.

if You have one sided leg swelling there is always a concern for blood clot but if since its been six weeks most likely its not that, another thing it could be is Lymphedema. You may want to get your doctor to give you a referral to vascular doctor to make sure circulation is adequate
