My daughter has been taking these allergy shots for her severe allergy problem. She was told she has to have a series of shots. She was initially administered 8 shots at 30 minute intervals and was then told she had to take 1 shot once a week for two months after that; but the shots would get stronger. Her first follow up shot was given to her on the back of her right upper arm. She showed me her arm later this evening and it is severely swollen, looks like a huge welt and looks like it s inflamed. She put a bag of ice on it, some anti bacterial itch cream and took an alive for pain. I told her that wasn t normal and needs to be looked at. I m extremely worried that the doctor may have gave her the wrong stuff. Can you give some advice?
