What Causes Swelling And Itching All Over The Body?

I have gotten bit by something all over my body. It seems to be only me getting bitten in the whole home, and it s very irritating. Even in the shower I felt more bites coming up and itching as it were hit. My hands are swelling from them and it s not specific in any area. I m afraid that it s only going to get worse. Is it an allergy or am I really getting bit by something? I feel no pain before the bumps show up and I just moved from my home to my aunts home. They have a dog and I sleep on the carpet. The bites swell around the bites and they are red.

Hello,
Thanks for the concern. You have itching and red rashes all over the body and such symptoms are not present to any family members of your home. So it might be allergy. For allergy you should take antihistaminic drugs like cetrizine, pheniramine maleate and steroid which will decrease the itching and rash.Allergy is due to exposure of allergen like soil, food, cloth, dust particle, cosmetics, etc. So try to recall the situation and try to find the allergen.
So immediately consult the dermatologist do allergic test and start accordingly. Hope it might help you. Take care
