What Causes Swelling And Itching On The Wrist?
My wrist under the palm of my hand is swollen, red and itching terribly. I ve had trouble with an unknown allergy for over a year. I ve seen my family doctor and dermatologist during this time. I m 72, female and loosing patience with the itching. I itch on my back, upper arms and neckline. I ve taken steroids and rubbed with cream. As long as I m taking the meds I don t itch. When the prescription is all taken I start itching again. What do you suggest????? Thanks, Sue

Your symptoms seem to be related to an allergic reaction.
I suggest using Levocetirizine.
I also recommend using Hydrocortisone cream for local application.
