What Causes Swelling And Lump On The Nose Despite Using Flonase?
The external side of my nose was swollen; dr. said it looks like my sinuses are swollen on the inside of my nose causing the external swelling. Put me on antibiotics and Flonase. Some swelling went down but there is still a small lump there. Your thoughts, pleae
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of swelling and lump on outside of nose despite using Flonase which is because of infection travel down the respiratory tract and affected whole area and leads to granular pharyngitis and sinusitis. You can take Benadryl for the time being , but it is very important to find exact reasons .I would suggest you to again consult your ENT specialist for proper examination. He/she may prescribe further antibiotic course and stronger antibiotics. Take combination of amoxicillin along with Levocetirizine. You should put xylomist nasal drops to prevent congestion. You should take chicken soup along with along with lemon tea. Take diet rich in vitamin C. Take decongestant nasal sprays containing mucinex for instant relief.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
