What Causes Swelling And Numbness On Lips?

Hi I just woke up and the bottom left side of my lip is swollen huge, and numb. I have lip rings on both sides but had to take out the left one cuz it was so tight around my lip. Im not allergic to anything nor have I had anything happen to my lip latly to cause this. I dont know what to do, im freakin out. Any addvice?

I understood your query and I hope my answer will solve your query

As you told that you have swelling and numbness over bottom left side of your lip. You also have lip rings on both sides. You had to take out the left side due to swelling.

Although you may not be allergic to any material but our mouth has a no. of aerobic and anaerobic bacterias. Proper oral hygiene is a must.

You should take cap. omez 10mg oral followed by tab. amoxycillin 500mg thrice a day, tab. metronidazole 400 mg thrice a day, tab. diclonec sodium 50 mg thrice a day for 3 days.

Brush your teeth twice daily. Add a tinge of metronidazole dental gel along with your tooth paste.

Use antibiotic containing mouth gargle. Gargle after every time you take the food and remove your second lip ring too as it can be source of infection.
