What Causes Swelling And Oedema In Calf Post Knee Replacement Surgery?

well here is my story....back in june of last year HAD a partial knee replacement on the inside of my left knee. It started to heal but had new problems of tingling and numbness down my knee in to my foot with feelings of walking on nails in left foot. went to my dr. and she said think it s from a disc problem in your lower back and then I was given shots in back for the pain which didn t do anything. had and EMG done and it showed the nerve was good from my lower back to my knee but approx. 50 percent loss from knee down. then within the past 3 months I acquired a bakers cyst in this same leg....it has been very painfull and the dr. gave me pain pills and a pain cream to put on it. in jan I had an MRI and it showed that I had a ruptured bakers cyst and a meniscus tear. but just recently as of the past week and a half my calf is swollen like I have severe edema. I called my dr, last Friday and she cant see me till march 9th. I am really concerned of what is going on here ...I am in pain....I can not work full time...actually just went back to work last week . Please help Dave Rhinard
