What Causes Swelling And Pain After Nondisplaced Fracture Of 3rd Proximal Phalanx?
I have a nondisplaced fracture of 3rd proximal phalanx. My dr. Advised to buddy toe and wear surgical shoe. Doesn t seem to be working well.Still have swelling and pain and now is feeling a bit like have a small ball under my foot. Suggestions? (a little over a week ago)

This is expected to be fine soon , ball is usually the bone forming, bone first forms in un-organised way and then it re models it self, i would suggest you to follow doctor's instructions religiously, do not over work your foot , resting your injured toe is most important in getting it healed well, wait and watch for now usually it heals in about three weeks, ice the area of swelling this will help.
