What Causes Swelling And Pain Behind The Ear Of A Baby?

my son is 16 months old and it appears he got bit by something on his ear. It has become red and swollen, mostly puffed up behind the ear which is forcing the ear to stick out. it is warm to the touch. he is feeling and acting fine and doesnt have a fever. it has remained the same since we noticed it this morning.

Hi,the swelling is due to the lymph node that's behind the ear .you have to follow up his temperature and pain .if anyone happened it mean that there's infection that will need antibiotics .
