Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Swelling And Pain In Knuckles And Ankles?
I have horrible pain in my wrist joints, knuckles, and ankles. My knuckles are swollen and my ankles are swollen. I do have heart problems - I take plavex and liptor. I do not believe that my heart is the issue. I just had a physical not to long ago but the last 6 days have been very hard because of the painful joints. I just starting taking gabapentin for my diabetic nerve pain in my feet. I have been on it for about two weeks. I have been taking Ibuprofen 800 MG and it is not doing anything for me. What do you recommend?
