What Causes Swelling And Pain In Lower Jaw Along With Fever?
Eight years ago, I spent several months in the hospital for an aortic anyeurism & a dissection. I am on Medicare, and have been quite pleased with the level of care I have received. Currently, I have a bad tooth that began to develop an abscess, resulting in swelling of my lower jaw, fever, and pain.My ex-wife had a prescription of azithromycin,500mg, on a 3-pill regemin. I started this past Friday & finished today. The swelling has subsided, along with the pain.I had planned to contact my internal medicine doctor tomorrow to find out if Medicare can help me. In the meantime, I've Googled & Binged for information, and what I'm discovering is I'm pretty much out of luck (no dental help from Medicare). Any suggestions/ideas that I might share w/ my Doctor tomorrow?
