What Causes Swelling And Pain In Right Knee Without Any Injury?

My right knee swelled up without injury. I had surgery on it 3 years ago from torn meniscus,But it swelled up slowly over the past 2 days. It hurts on the inside and swollen behind the knee. I have Hep C from transfusion 33 years ago. I m concerned that the swelling may be related to Hep C.I went swming today but I think it s worse so I now have it elevated with ice. I m waiting to see if I can get Harvoni but now worried about my knee

I really appreciate your concern, knee joint is very fragile unit and this may get hurts very easily and once it get some disease then it may long last there looking to this the swelling could be due to previous disease and this need to be managed accordingly, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
