What Causes Swelling And Pain In The Ankle After Taking Amlodipine?
I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and was recently given Amlopidine for high blood pressure, after only two tablets my left ankle started to swell and turn red, the pain was intense and I am unable to walk or stand. My medication for the RA is methotrexate should they not be mixed/

It is not related to Amlodipine. As of now you can take analgesics like Aceclofenac or Tramadol for pain relief. If symptoms persists better to consult an orthopedician and get evaluated.
