What Causes Swelling And Pain In The Ankles And Feet?

Been having trouble with my feet and ankles swelling and hurting. I have nuropathy but this is causing me to loose sleep and it hurts. Just started Breo and since this started about that time was wondering if that is the culprit. I stopped the salt 2 days ago. I had been eating canned tomatoes and stopped that. Tonight they are really hurting and really don t know what to do to make it better.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

If the ankles are not red, you can get Ibuprofen to help with the pain and try to keep the legs up to reduce edema whenever you can (when you sit or lay). If no improvement in a few days or any worsening please see your doctor.

If there is any redness on the ankle area please see your doctor as soon as possible to have proper examination and diagnosis.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Zotaj Antoneta,
